HARTSVILLE, S.C. —  A new fresh produce bag from Hilex, a Novolex brand, was designed to be much easier to open than other produce bags.

The RollStar EZ Open Produce Bags use a proprietary recipe that makes them easy to open, according to Novolex. The bags come in a wide variety of sizes and gauges, including versions certified as compostable by the Biodegradable Products Institute (BPI).
