KANSAS CITY, KAN.  — Balls Food Stores and its subsidiary Tippin’s Gourmet Pies LLC have named new executives.

At Balls, parent company of the Hen House Market, Price Chopper, Sun Fresh and Payless Discount Foods banners in Kansas City and surrounding markets, Scott Bayne has been promoted to chief operating officer; Gregg Frost to chief teammate officer; Mike Sullivan to vice president of Price Chopper Operations; Bob Pearson to vice president of Hen House/Sunfresh/Payless Operations; and Pat Rogers to delicatessen director. 

At Tippin’s, Michele Mauden has been named vice president of sales and marketing. 

“We’re fortunate to have an experienced and proven sales leader joining our team,” said Robin Venn, Tippin’s president. “Michele understands the bakery business from every angle because she has worked in manufacturing, in grocery, and as a food broker. She’ll be a tremendous asset as we work to grow our business with premium retailers across the country.”
