LEAMINGTON, ONT. – Nature Fresh Farms, one of the largest independent greenhouse produce growers in North America, is expanding production of its recently launched strawberries.

The response to the company’s initial berry sampling was so great, it extended its strawberry acreage from 1 to 16 in just one year.

“After a few years of continuous trial, development, and collaboration with key partners of ours, we are ready to go to market,” said Matt Quiring, director of sales. “With the higher price of greenhouse strawberries, we know that our taste and quality must stand out from the pack.  We’ve developed a recipe for success now we’re excited to get the first berries into the hands of the consumers. We’re eager to evolve and disrupt the berry category as we enter this space.”
