CHICAGO – Food marketing specialist FoodMix Marketing Communications will host a webinar focused on branding in the fresh produce industry.
Set for 12 p.m. CST Feb. 10, the webinar will examine the underdeveloped state of branding in produce.
“More than half of consumers find it important to shop specific brands in the fresh produce department of the retail store,” according to FoodMix. “What’s more, almost 70% will pay more for branded produce.”
Dan O’Connell, CEO of FoodMix, and Nadine Baarstad, the firm’s vice president of client development, will lead the webinar, communicating the findings of the company’s branded produce study.
“We did our homework to make sure we brought the industry a fresh perspective. This is a landmark study that will end the debate to brand or not to brand, which we will detail in our new webinar,” O’Connell said.
