During the months of September and October, Kretschmar will issue special coupons that offer deli shoppers savings, and Make-A-Wish will benefit from every coupon redeemed. The campaign, "Save & Donate," is part of an association Kretschmar established with Make-A-Wish in 2012 that continues to bring smiles to the faces of children with life-threatening illnesses.

Kretschmar is offering the coupons on point-of-sale materials inside grocery stores, at the deli counter across the nation. Fans can redeem the coupon to save 50 cents on a purchase of one pound or more on bulk deli meats and cheeses. Kretschmar will then donate 25 cents per coupon redeemed up to $150,000 to Make-A-Wish. The offer will last until October 31.

"We are very excited about this fundraising promotion," said Mike Sargent, Senior Brand Manager, Kretschmar Deli. "With every purchase, we're going to help fulfill wishes for some very special children. We have enjoyed our association with Make-A-Wish over the past three years and have seen the benefits that kids receive through the organization's efforts. It's wonderful to know that our customers will allow this to continue for years to come."

Since 2012, Kretschmar has contributed over $315,000 to Make-A-Wish nationally and sponsored over nine wishes with local chapters. Along with its retail partners, Kretschmar has raised additional funding through sales of Make-A-Wish paper stars sold at stores' registers for $1 donations, employee donations and sandwich fundraisers. Those efforts have raised over $50,000, which was given to local Make-A-Wish chapters to grant more wishes.
