CLAREMONT, NH. – Earth Fare’s 22 retail locations will start offering North Country Smokehouse products. The stores, which are located in eight states, will sell Polish Style Kielbassa, Vermont Cheddar Sausage, Smoky Maple Breakfast Links and Sugar-Free Fruitwood Smoked Bacon. The bacon will be sold by the pound out of the butcher case.

“The partnership just fits,” said Mike Kelly, vice president of Business Development for North Country Smokehouse. “North Country takes pride in crafting small batch recipes with the best possible ingredients. We have a loyal following on the East Coast and this relationship makes it even easier for shoppers to find the products they know and love or try a new flavor they haven’t had access to in the past.”

Earth Fare is committed to transparency and craftsmanship. The retailer’s “Boot List” contains more than 150 ingredients that it considers harmful to the human body. Any product containing any of the ingredients is not carried in the store.

“This is especially important because food labels can be very misleading,” Kelly said. “Our Certified Humane products are third-party audited to ensure we’re meeting strict animal welfare standards and they don’t contain hormones or antibiotics – ever. Our USDA Organic products not only meet but exceed the federal standards. They do not contain GMOs or animal byproducts, and the pork is vegetarian fed from our very own grain mills.

“Earth Fare does the work of weeding out low-quality ingredients for their customers, so they can shop with confidence. Their product offerings never contain artificial colors, flavors, or sweeteners.”
