PECOS, Texas — United Supermarkets opened a new 44,000 square foot store in Pecos that includes a full-service bakery, a sushi bar, a full-service deli and a meat market with an in-house butcher. The new supermarket will also feature an extensive beer and wine selection, along with foodservice and a dining room.

“We have all watched as this store went from being a concept to becoming reality,” said Sergio Aguillon, store director of the Pecos store. “It has been really fantastic to welcome everyone in to see this store. We are really proud of it and think the community of Pecos will be served well by it.”

The United Express convenience store and 12 fueling stations also opened for business along with the new United supermarket. The convenience store is 3,000 square feet.

“We are so excited to be bringing our signature experience of ultimate service, superior performance and positive impact to the community of Pecos,” said John Jameson, RVP for the United Family. “I know Sergio is ready to lead this store and serve the people in this area for a long time.”
