AUSTIN, MINN. – Hormel Foods Corp. is introducing Hormel Black Label Ranch Thick Cut Bacon. This newly launched bacon variety is hardwood smoked and rubbed with ranch seasoning. Each two-slice serving contains 110 calories, 7 grams of protein and 9 grams of fat.

“Our team combined American’s favorite condiment with thick-cut bacon to create Hormel Black Label bacon hand-rubbed with ranch seasoning,” said John Hernandez, brand manager for Hormel Foods. “This new item will deliver the mouth-watering flavor of bacon and creamy ranch you crave on any sandwich, salad or baked potato – creating an unforgettable meal.”

In addition to the ranch variety, Hormel is also launching Black Label Classic Country Style Thick Cut Bacon. Smoked for more than 10 hours, the product features “the unforgettable flavor of bacon made with time-honored smokehouse processes dating back to the days of the American settlers,” the company said. Each two-slice serving contains 130 calories, 7 grams of protein and 11 grams of fat.

Hormel's new Black Label bacon varieties are available in 12-oz packages at Walmart and Spartan Nash locations.
