ARLINGTON, VA. - FMI – The Food Industry Association is hosting a webinar on Oct. 7 detailing the association’s findings from Food Retailing Industry Speaks, a survey of over 37,000 food retail stores.
The survey included operational and financial benchmarks, illuminates grocers’ strategic and tactical decisions and asked retailers to provide perspective on the first few months of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The webinar will go over key findings from the survey and offer analysis to provide context to a challenging year and share growth opportunities for the industry. Key objectives for the webinar participants are:
Learn how the industry is confronting challenges that have been ongoing for years and those that are newer and growing in intensity
Identify product and service strategies food retailers find effective in differentiating themselves from the competition
Determine current and expected use of key customer communication approaches
Assess the health of the food retail industry through key operational and financial benchmarks
