VANCOUVER, CANADA – Oppy has expanded it cherry offerings to include Katicich cherries, which are grown in Stockton, Calif., and offer unrivaled quality, according to Oppy. Production is expected to begin between mid-May and June.

“Last year was one of the best for Oppy’s cherries and we are expecting a similarly successful program this year as well, despite the unprecedented challenges that the produce industry is facing as a whole,” said James Milne, senior vice president of categories and marketing. “We expect the arrival of cherries to lift spirits and evoke a little more normalcy—and perhaps even optimism—for all who enjoy them.”

The Katicich cherry brand joins Oppy’s Brookside and Orchard View labels.
