ANAHEIM, CALIF. — The Little Potato Co. is debuting Easy Sides, a new line of heat-and-eat potato dishes designed to appeal to busy consumers.

Easy Sides meal solutions feature fully cooked and pre-seasoned potatoes that are prepared by heating in a skillet for seven minutes. Each package contains three cups of Creamer potatoes that have been slow-cooked sous vide style in warm water with spices. Containing 80 to 90 calories per serving, Easy Sides are gluten-free and come in four varieties: onion and garlic, sea salt and black pepper, paprika and bell pepper, and sweet bell pepper and onion.

“Through our consumer research, we discovered that one of the biggest pain points when it comes to eating potatoes is that they are too time consuming and complicated to prepare, so we’ve taken the complication out,” said Richard Vann, vice-president of marketing and product innovation at The Little Potato Co. “We know that consumers are looking for easy, healthy options for their families, and convenience is king. Easy Sides is perfect for weeknight cooking when time is short.”
