NEW YORK — Godiva Chocolatier is launching a new line of premium baking chocolates designed to “elevate homemade desserts,” the company said.

The premium portfolio includes three products: baking bars, melting chocolates and baking chips. The baking bars are available in milk, semi-sweet, bittersweet and unsweetened chocolate varieties; the melting chocolates come in milk and dark chocolate varieties; and the baking chips are available in milk, semi-sweet and bittersweet chocolate varieties.

“We are delighted to introduce new Godiva baking chocolates to baking enthusiasts and chocolate lovers to inspire delicious desserts they can share with friends, family and loved ones,” said Caroline Le Roch, president of the Americas for Godiva Chocolatier. “This is an exciting addition to our growing presence at grocery stores, making the iconic taste of Godiva more accessible across the country.”

Godiva premium baking chocolates are available nationwide in the baking aisle of retailers, including Walmart, Kroger, Target, Publix, HyVee and Wegman’s. Suggested retail price ranges from $3 to $5.

The debut of Godiva’s new baking chocolates follows the company’s introduction of premium baking mixes in June. Godiva partnered with General Mills, Inc. to launch dessert mixes that incorporate Godiva’s signature chocolate. Varieties include Molten Lava Cakes, Brownie Cheesecake Swirl, Raspberry Chocolate Torte and Flourless Chocolate Torte.
