AmazonFresh is expanding into three new markets — Houston, Minneapolis and Phoenix — the online giant says.

Amazon Prime members in those markets will now have access to grocery items, including fresh fruits and vegetables, meats, seafood and other everyday essentials, all of which can be delivered for free in two hours, assuming a $35 order minimum is hit. One-hour delivery is also available for an additional $7.99 fee.

"Prime members tell us they want their stuff even faster," says Stephenie Landry, vice president of AmazonFresh and Prime Now. "We're happy to deliver on that ask and can't wait for customers in Houston, Minneapolis and Phoenix to take advantage of one- and two-hour delivery from AmazonFresh."

AmazonFresh requires an additional $14.99 monthly fee for Prime members. The company's other grocery delivery service, Prime Now, delivers from Whole Foods and Amazon fulfillment centers and is included in a Prime membership.
