The Starbucks brand is making its first foray into the refrigerated creamer category as part of its global coffee alliance with Nestle S.A.

Available in caramel, white chocolate and cinnamon dolce flavors, Starbucks Creamers are inspired by three popular beverages served at Starbucks cafes: caramel macchiato, white chocolate mocha and cinnamon dolce latte.

“Nestle has been a leader in the creamer category since launching Coffee-Mate in 1961, and we continue to innovate and help drive category growth,” said Daniel Jhung, president of beverages for Nestle USA. “In our work with Starbucks through our global coffee alliance, we saw the opportunity to introduce Starbucks Creamers as a new way for consumers to enjoy the Starbucks cafe flavors they know and love from the comforts of their home.”

Starbucks Creamers are the fourth product platform developed since Starbucks Corp. and Nestle S.A. formed a global coffee alliance in August 2018. The companies debuted the first product lines in February, which included whole bean, roast and ground coffee, as well as the first Starbucks capsules developed for Nespresso and Nescafe Dolce Gusto coffee and system technologies.

"The global coffee alliance has allowed us to develop and launch new Starbucks products at an unprecedented speed,” said David Rennie, head of the beverages strategic business unit for Nestle S.A. “We are very pleased to expand the Starbucks brand into the creamers category less than a year after we closed the deal. We will continue to move fast to deliver great Starbucks coffee experiences to our consumers around the world."

Starbucks Creamers will be available at grocery stores and via online retailers beginning this August.

"We know that Starbucks customers are passionate about their coffee,” said Duncan Moir, president of global channel development at Starbucks. “With Starbucks Creamers we are delighted to give them another way to enjoy their favorite Starbucks experience and flavors at home and outside our cafes.”
