Prepared foods specialist Ukrop’s Homestyle Foods is opening a food hall in Richmond, Virginia.

The facility, set to open in 2020, will feature fried chicken, potato wedges, paninis, pizzas and other Ukrop’s prepared food favorites, according to a story on www.rvahub.com.

Ukrop’s used to run grocery stores in Richmond and other markets but now focuses on producing prepared foods for retailers including Kroger and Wegmans.

“We hope it will be a fun and dynamic place where people can gather and enjoy great-tasting Ukrop’s foods,” Ukrop’s said in a Facebook post cited in the story. “It will also be a location where we can be innovative and creative, introducing and testing new foods.”
