Instore bakery dessert specialist Chuckanut Bay Foods has doubled its production capacity.

The new 20,000 square foot facility in Blaine, Washington, will  allow Chuckanut Bay Foods to significantly increase production of its gourmet cheesecakes and other desserts. The site is near Interstate 5, facilitating product shipments and vendor deliveries, and has enough room for the company to double its capacity again.

Chuckanut Bay products are sold in more than 7,000 stores in the U.S. and Canada. The company makes cheesecake in multiple sizes: petites that are perfect as appetizers; single serve for 1-2 to share; family size that feeds 4-6 people; party size that serves up to 12; foodservice packs with up to 16 servings; and sheetcakes for large groups and catering. The company also creates scratch-made tiramisu and fruitcake.

The company produces under its own name as well as for private label.
