Instore bakery pie specialist Tippin’s is moving into a new baking facility to handle increased demand.

Tippin’s, a division of Kansas City, Kansas-based retailer Balls Foods, will move into a larger facility in Kansas City in the first quarter of 2019, according to a story on www.kshb.com.

Tippin’s has evolved from a restaurant known for its pies to a major pie baker and distributor. The company now sells pies in 14 states. This year, it had to turn down orders because its bakery could not make enough pies, according to the story. 

Pumpkin, French silk and apple are the top three holiday pie sellers for Tippin’s.
