Amazon has opened two of its cashier-less Amazon Go convenience stores in Chicago and has plans for another.

The first Chicago Amazon go store opened in the Loop area in September, according to a story in the Chicago Tribune. It was the first outside Amazon’s hometown of Seattle.

The second opened in Oct. 7 at 144 S. Clark St., according to the story. And a third will open soon at 500 W. Madison St.

At Amazon Go stores, customers use a smartphone app connected to their Amazon account to scan products themselves without going through a checkout line.
