Taylor Farms Northwest LLC is recalling approximately 62 pounds of ready-to-eat meatloaf products due to misbranding and undeclared allergens, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service announced Aug. 21.

The products, 16 oz clear containers labeled “Homestyle Meatloaf,” contain fish (anchovies) and milk, which are not declared on the product label. Kent, Washington-based Taylor Farms Northwest produced the products, which have a sell-by date of Aug. 25, on Aug. 19. Product was shipped to retailers in Oregon and Washington.

The problem was discovered on Aug. 20 when a Taylor Farms Northwest employee conducted an inventory check and discovered the mislabeling of the company’s Turkey Meatloaf with Kale product as Homestyle Meatloaf, which is a beef product. The establishment then notified FSIS of the problem.

As of Aug. 21, there had been no reports of adverse reactions related to consumption of affected product.
