Popular Texas retailer H-E-B says it is shuttering one of its underperforming Houston area locations and transitioning the property into an e-commerce fulfillment center.
According to the Houston Chronicle, the 28,000-square-foot store will close next month and will be converted into the area's first e-commerce warehouse. The company is also building one in its hometown of San Antonio.
The revamped facility will be used as a satellite location for stores offering grocery pickup or home delivery.
