European baked goods specialist St Pierre will soon offer  a brioche popover for its U.S. retail customers.

The product is a light brioche with a sweet filling baked into the dough and is similar in appearance to a classic breakfast muffin. Set to begin shipping in August, the brioche comes in three flavors: vanilla, chocolate and cinnamon. Product will ship in retail packs of two.

The brioche category has enjoyed 250 percent menu growth in the past decade, according to St Pierre, whose other brioche products include sliced loaves, tear-and-share loaves, buns, rolls, cream-filled swirls and waffles.
