The Wisconsin Cheese Makers Association has added two members to its board of directors.

Brian Baker of Baker Cheese in Saint Cloud, Wisconsin, and Doug Wilkie of Valley Queen Cheese in Milbank, South Dakota, were announced at the Madison-based group’s annual meeting in Milwaukee, according to a post at

Baker and Wilkie will begin their new terms July 1.

“Fresh perspectives help WCMA evolve to meet the changing needs of its membership, and we are grateful to our directors who generously devote their time and energy to advocate for the best interests of our industry,” says the association’s director, John Umhoefer, according to the post.

Also at the meeting, the association named Kim Heiman to another term as board president. Kerry Henning was chosen first vice president and Dave Buholzer second vice president.
