Fresco y Mas, the Hispanic-themed retail banner under the Southeastern Grocers Inc. umbrella, is opening three new stores in Florida.

Jacksonville, Florida-based Southeastern will convert one Orlando Winn-Dixie store into a Fresco y Mas, and two conversions in Tampa are also planned, according to a story in the Orlando Sentinel.

The Orlando conversion should be completed by April, according to the story.

The news comes days after Southeastern announced it would close 94 stores as part of a restructuring plan. In addition to Winn-Dixie and Fresco y Mas, Southeastern’s banners include BI-LO and Harveys.
