Fortune magazine released its 21st annual 100 Best Companies to Work For list on Thursday and three supermarket chains (and one c-store) were named.

Wegmans, which has made the list all 21 years, ranked second, just behind cloud computing company Salesforce at No. 1. Wegmans operates nearly 100 stores in the Mid-Atlantic and New England Regions.

Publix, which was featured by instore last month, was ranked 47th on the list. The company, which operates 1,167 locations in the Southeast, is pushing into the Mid-Atlantic region.

Nugget Markets, a nine-store chain headquartered in Woodland, California, was ranked 70th.

Popular c-store chain Sheetz, known for its foodservice, came in a 66th on the list., which was 21 spots higher than its ranking in 2017. Sheetz operates more than 500 locations in the Mid-Atlantic, Upper South and Appalachia regions, as well as in Ohio. It's the fourth time in five years the company has made the list.

Fortune's annual list consists of companies with at least 1,000 employees and its selections are based on the results of an anonymous employee survey.
