Indian food specialist Café Spice is recalling chicken salad due to an undeclared allergen.

New Windsor, New York-based Café Spice is recalling about 289 pounds of chicken salad products that contain milk, which was not indicated on the products’ labels, according to the United States Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service.

The products, produced on Jan. 12, were packed in 15 oz clamshells and labeled “southwest-style chicken wrap.” They have a best-by date of Jan. 20.

The problem was discovered by a retail customer, who notified the company. As of Jan. 18, there had been no reports of adverse reactions relate to the products.
