CHICAGO — A specialist in pre-cooked Italian specialties hopes to roll out its latest line of heat-and-eat meat products in the first quarter of 2018.

Bridgeton, New Jersey-based Buona Vita Inc. plans to introduce four new 32 oz refrigerated products, all of which cook in about ten minutes, Paul Infranco, the company’s president, said at the Private Label Manufacturers Association’s annual show Nov. 12-14 in Chicago.

The new products include meatballs in a red sauce; Swedish meatballs in a Swedish sauce; meatloaf; and sausage, peppers and onions. All products can be packed branded or in retailers’ store brands, Infranco said.

Buona Vita specializes in Italian meatballs but also ships Italian sausages, eggplant cutlets, pizza toppings, beef braciola and meatloafs.
