Tippin’s Gourmet Foods in Kansas City, KS, has named Mark Boyer as its new president. Boyer assumed the newly created role on April 15.

Boyer most recently was SVP of customer development for Dawn Foods. Prior to this role, he was president and managing partner at PMG, LLC.

“Mark brings a unique mix of customer and consumer knowledge to our business,” says David Ball, president and chief operating officer of Ball’s Foods, owner of Tippin’s Gourmet Foods. “We initially asked him to take a look at our business to suggest ways we might improve, and the resulting recommendations he developed made it clear to us that he not only understood the business, but was also the best person to run the business.”

Tippin’s Gourmet Foods sells gourmet bakery and prepared food products to the retail supermarket and foodservice industries.
