IDDBA on Monday announced a pair of promotions within the organization.

Jeremy Johnson has been named Vice President of Education after managing the Show and Sell center at the annual trade show and focusing on professional development and training program development. The 20-year veteran of IDDBA's education department will focus on continuing and growing the educational support offered for members. He will oversee the development of original research, IDDBA Safe Food Matters initiatives and the scholarship programs that offer solutions for members' needs.

Mary Kay O'Connor has accepted the position of Vice President of Special Projects. O'Connor has been a member of IDDBA for 31 years and has serve in association management for 40 years. She has helped created a full-foundation of deli, bakery and cheese food safety programs and will bring that experience to her new position with developing industry certification programs and developing a plan for expanding IDDBA's support of the dairy department.
