QuikTrip, the c-store retailer with more than 900 locations throughout the Midwest, Southeast and Southwest, is planning a new 250,000-square-foot manufacturing and distribution facility in its hometown of Tulsa, OK.

According to the Tulsa World, QT spokesperson Mike Thornburgh said the company had outgrown its current facility and that the new building is part of the company’s long-term plan. The new facility gives QT the chance to grow its commissary and distribution workforce. It will also hold the QuikTrip Signs and Fulfillment division.

Thornbrugh told the World that employment at the facility will reach around 125, up from the current 65.

QT also operates facilities in Kansas City, Dallas, Phoenix and Atlanta.
