SHEBOYGAN FALLS, WIS. — Johnsonville is rolling out a new line of sausages in three flavors for foodservice convenience.
The new products are pre-sliced and pre-cooked to save operators prep time and labor. They are frozen with a 270-day shelf life.
“Our R&D team worked closely with operators to develop these solutions,” said Craig Yoder, senior channel marketing manager, C-Store at Johnsonville. “These new sliced sausages are ready to use, full of flavor, and versatile across a wide range of menu applications.”
The three new sausage flavors are Ultimate Italian, Jalapeño Cheddar and Southwestern. Johnsonville said they use real ingredients with bold flavor and ideal texture.
According to Johnsonville, the sausages are also clean label and gluten-free.
The sausages can work for meals anytime of the day, as they can be added to pizzas, burritos, wraps, bowls, etc.
“These new slices are purpose-built for foodservice operations that need to move fast without compromising quality or flavor,” Yoder said. “Whether you're serving up signature pizzas or high-volume breakfast skillets, Johnsonville Slices deliver.”
