CINCINNATI — Flexible packaging supplier ProAmpac introduced its latest dairy packaging products, wraps designed to protect butter, margarine and other oil-based solid products.

ProAmpac said its Butter Fresh Parchment and foil-paper-based solutions feature “superior grease resistance and excellent dead-fold properties to maintain freshness and minimize air exposure.”

Vice president of product development Jim Tierney said the Butter Fresh Parchment is wax-free, PFAS-free and designed to be compostable.

"Paired with our durable foil-paper-based wrap, these solutions ensure efficient processing and premium product presentation,” Tierney said.

The packaging manufacturer said its foil-paper wrap preserves butter product integrity with UV protection and a grease barrier. ProAmpac also noted the wrap was designed for high-speed processing and features a strong bond to resist delamination and curling. Further, the company said its foil-paper wrap has embossing to enhance runnability, add texture and improve dead-fold performance.

ProAmpac’s line of dairy packaging solutions also includes lids, cheese packaging and spouted yogurt pouches. The supplier said its experts designed PRO-FLEX films to meet the needs of natural chunk, retail shred and institutional shred cheese makers.
