ARKANSAS CITY, KAN. – Premium beef processor Creekstone Farms announced that its new product, Irodori Wagyu, will debut at the upcoming Annual Meat Conference, March 24-26, in Orlando.

“As consumer preferences evolve, there is a growing demand for premium beef options like American Wagyu,” said Jim Rogers, senior vice president of sales at Creekstone Farms. “With its exceptional flavor and growing awareness, consumers are willing to invest in exceptional culinary experiences.”

The Irodori Wagyu program includes a range of cuts, including whole sub-primals, thin meats and ground beef.

The new offering comes from Black Angus genetics and has a unique fat composition that uses lower heat, bold flavor and buttery texture to cook the beef. The cattle used by Creekstone are raised by family ranchers in the Midwest using a corn-based diet.

Creekstone highlighted trends for this program’s rollout including marbling and unique flavor profiles. The company is also looking toward the willingness of people to pay a premium price for heavily marbled, high-quality meat.

The American Wagyu Association also pointed out that consumers are more aware of the health benefits associated with Wagyu.

The new Irodori Wagyu will be featured along with Creekstone’s premium Black Angus beef and all-natural Heritage Duroc pork during the event.
