ST. SIMONS ISLAND, GA. — SeaPak Shrimp & Seafood has launched a new product inspired by New Orleans cuisine, SeaPak Classic Cajun Style Shrimp.

The new frozen product is seasoned with a New Orleans spice blend including salt, black pepper, cayenne pepper, and garlic, which come together with a 100% real butter coating to make the perfect sauce when cooked.

The pack comes with two 5-ounce servings that are ready to bake or sauté and served over rice or grits. The sauce is also great for dipping French bread, SeaPak said.

“This item is packed with flavor, and we are excited to see how consumers respond to it,” said Samatha Stogner, marketing manager, SeaPak. “Most of our product line has a classic coastal taste with a golden crispy coating, while the Cajun Style Shrimp has a more adventurous flavor that we think will excite anyone looking for a new addition to their weekly dining routine.”

According to SeaPak, the initial retail launch will include select Meijer, Food Lion, Hannaford, Schnucks and Giant Eagle stores.
