Tyson’s Chairman’s Reserve Meats brand is a premium product line that provides an “unparalleled beef and pork eating experience,” said Britney Banuelos, Tyson’s senior brand manager, beef and pork marketing.

“While not every consumer wants premium meat products, there is strong interest in the category, particularly among younger, food-centric consumers who seek to elevate their at-home dining experiences,” Banuelos said.

Flavorful and tender meat, optimal marbling and bright coloring are among the product attributes Tyson insists on for Chairman’s Reserve.

“With exacting quality standards, Chairman’s Reserve Meats products are hand-selected to deliver consistency, quality and consumer confidence, feeding consumers’ appetite for high-quality beef and pork,” Banuelos said.

The line includes Chairman’s Reserve Platinum Angus beef, Chairman’s Reserve Premium Angus Beef, Chairman’s Reserve Prime Pork and Chairman’s Reserve Premium Pork.

Tyson is always looking for ways to expand the line, Banuelos said. The latest example is the addition of tomahawk beef and pork products, which she said continue to be center-of-plate features for special occasions and products that are favored by serious foodies.

Three years ago, the company launched its Chairman’s Reserve Prime Pork vacuum sealed chops, which are conveniently packaged for retailers and freezer-ready for consumers who like to stock up.

“We continue to evaluate similar innovations in packaging, package size, cuts and more to complement the existing Chairman’s Reserve portfolio.”
