Daily’s Premium Meats is kicking the heat up a notch with the release of two new products, Hot Honey and Spicy Maple flavored thick-cut bacon.

Smithfield Select Fully Cooked Bacon is part of Smithfield’s line of premium bacon products, which also features ready-to-cook premium bacon items like Smithfield Honey Cured Bacon, Smithfield Pepper-Encrusted Bacon and Smithfield Log Smoked Bacon.

Hormel Black Label Oven Ready Thick Cut Bacon just requires putting the bacon and the included cooking tray in a preheated oven for about 20 minutes, depending on the desired level of crispiness. The disposable cooking tray simplifies clean up after cooking is completed. 

The limited edition Cinnamon Toast Crunch Bacon contains a hand-rubbed Cinnadust seasoning on a thick-cut bacon held overnight for optimal flavor. Hormel brings a wealth of experience with bacon to the partnership with the iconic Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal from General Mills. 

In February, MyBacon from MyForest Foods became available at 57 Whole Foods Market locations in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut. By August, the mushroom-based bacon was available in more than 650 locations in the northeastern part of the US, the company said.

Kentucky Legend, a bacon and ham brand produced by Indiana Packers Corp., recently launched its new line of bourbon barrel smoked ham and bacon products.

The limited-time offering is a nod to Millennial and Gen Z consumers who are driving demand for exciting and sophisticated flavors.

The hickory wood smoked bacon is made from all-natural, small-batch and seasoned pork bellies, the company said. 

North Country Smokehouse uses pork bellies from its own integrated farms and then puts the bellies in a secret New England Maple syrup brine before smoking them low and slow for hours over choice hardwood. After that, the bellies are crumbled into hearty irregular-shaped pieces.

Godshall's Beef Bacon is wood smoked with a blend of hickory and applewood and crafted with US-made beef. It is Halal, gluten-free, low in calories, high in protein and zero carbs per serving.

The new offering features the same quality and taste as traditional Applegate bacon but is shelf-stable prior to being opened as well as fully cooked so consumers can enjoy it within minutes.

The bacon is crafted with ingredients — pork, water, salt, turbinado sugar, and celery powder — then slow-smoked over real applewood. True Story Foods said that its products are always nitrate- and preservative-free.
